Communicating skills are a must in any profession, and you can sharpen your skills with Iowa Western's Communication Studies program. This program combines theories of speech, business, psychology, and sociology.
As you work toward an Associate of Arts degree, you’ll focus on learning the concepts and practices of human communication within business organizations. Emphasis is placed on practices within diverse backgrounds. This program typically enrolls fewer than 20 students, which lends itself to more personal interaction with instructors.
The Communication Arts department is housed in Stuart Hall. All full time faculty have individual offices and hold office hours to work closely with students. Communication classes are held in Stuart Hall, as well as other adjoining buildings.
