Computer Information Technology Scholarships

Qualified students have an opportunity to apply for any of the following departmental scholarships. Applicants are screened and selected by the Computer Information Technology department faculty. Use the general IWCC scholarship application to apply. Returning second year students may also qualify for other scholarships. Please see your advisor for more information.

Dennis E. Kirlin Gold Scholarship

This scholarship will pay $1,500 per semester and is a two-year conditional award valued at $6,000.

  • High school seniors who have a high school cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00.
  • Maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or greater in all IWCC course work.

William R. Fleming Silver Scholarship

This scholarship will pay $1,000 per semester and is a two-year conditional award valued at $4,000.

  • High school seniors who have a high school cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.75.
  • Maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 or greater in all IWCC course work.

Lowell E. Socolofsky Bronze Scholarship

This scholarship will pay $750 per semester and is a two-year conditional award valued at $3,000.

  • High school seniors who have a high school cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.50.
  • Maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.50 or greater in all IWCC course work.

Computer Information Technology Scholarship

  • $500 per semester and is a two-year conditional award valued at $2,000.
  • Full-time students majoring in a Computer Information Technology department program.
  • Maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.00 or greater in all IWCC course work.
