All programs will begin at 3pm (check-in at 2:30pm) and conclude at 7:30pm.
Dinner served from 5-5:30pm.
$79 (includes tuition, hand-outs, dinner, and refreshments)
$25 for dinner guest only

Pre-registration is required and registration deadline is Monday at Noon. Payment is due at time of registration. Register by calling 712-325-3255 or complete the Registration Form and email, fax, or mail it back to Continuing Education.

FTC Funeral Rule Compliance/Resolving Family Complaints
Join T. Scott Gilligan as he discusses FTC funeral rule compliance; the common mis-steps of funeral directors that can lead to consumer complaints; legal issues that arise during the arrangement conference; and recent legal developments on right of disposition statutes, the growing list of states legalizing alkaline hydrolysis and new protections for preneed consumers. Check-in at 2:30pm, program begins at 3pm. Pre-registration is required and deadline is Monday, 4/9/18, at Noon. Payment due at time of registration. Program is approved for 4 hours continuing education and will be held in the Looft Hall Auditorium. Fee $79
