New Student Registration and Orientation
Once you have made the decision to become a Reiver, you can sign up for one of our many registration events!
Students that have been accepted to Iowa Western can sign up to attend New Student Registration and Orientation. While on campus for this event, you will meet with an admissions advisor, create your class schedule, get your photo I.D. taken and meet other new Reivers!
Parents will have an opportunity to sit in on parent sessions that are being led by our many student support offices on campus.
NSRO begins April 11th and is offered Monday-Friday at the times below:
NSRO is not offered May 28th or July 4th as the college will be closed.
NSRO lasts 2-3 hours
NSRO has a capacity of 15 students.
NSRO is available the following days/times:
Monday- 1:00 pm
Tuesday- 10:00 am & 1:00 pm
Wednesday- 10:00 am
Thursday- 10:00 am & 1:00 pm
Friday- 10:00 am
Adult Learner Sessions:
Wednesday- 4:00 pm

NSRO is an all-inclusive, new student event; by the time you leave you will officially
be a Reiver!
At NSRO you will:
- Register for your Fall Classes
- Finalize Financial Aid and Payment Arrangements
- Order Textbooks
- Attend Orientation
- Get Your Student ID Card
- Get Your Parking Permit
- Meet Other New Students
- Meet Iowa Western Advisors
